Gather the following materials:
• Nail polish – for the base coat, any color will do
• Thin paint brush or lip brush
• Acrylic paints – any color, make sure that it matches with the base color
• Toothpick
• Clear Nail Polish – for top coat
• Gems, Crystals or Colored stones
Start by cleaning your nails, remember, nail polish is just like paint – it will not stick to dirty walls. Begin with the application of dark nail polish as the base coat. Do not let it dry before proceeding with the application of the gems, crystals or colored stones. Dip the toothpick barely in the nail polish the lift the crystal, gem or colored stones with it then place it at the center of your nail. Firmly press the crystal against the wed nail polish and then let it dry. Do this procedure in each and every nail.
Once all the nails are dried, get the paint or lip brush and dip it with the acrylic paint the draw small petals of flower around the crystal, gem or colored stones – about 3 or 4 petals will do. Leave it to dry the seal it with top clear nail polish.
